FD fuel pump limits?

Currently running a FD fuel pump in my T2 swapped FC... putting down roughly 325whp according to my 1/4 mile and MPH calculations, and backed by a very similar FC that put down the near exact time as me.

What are the limits of the pump?

you have to be pretty close to its limits.

What is the next step up that drops in to the stock location? I dont ever plan on going over 400whp. Supra pump?

There are tons of fuel pumps out there. I have a walbro 255lph. My next plan is the bosch 044. Curious why it seems like you want to stick with a fuel pump of a factory car?

You could also hardwire your existing pump to get power going to it

There seems to be a lot of fake walbro 255's out there.

My current pump does have straight 12v going to it since I'm using a megasquirt ECU.

My FD pump was on the edge of being able to feed a BONE STOCK 20B, but would stall at idle a few weeks ago, indicating failing fuel pressure. It wasn't enough, so I scored a legitimate Walbro 255 for dirt cheap.

Skip the Supra pump, just go for a Walbro and remember that if it seems too cheap, it's probably a fake one. If all else fails, fire it up on the bench and listen. It will sound very similar to doing a poor man's compression test

The newer Walbros 400lph(90000262 pump gas and 90000267 ethanol friendly) are much quieter and flow better than the previous models
