.......

No, the S-AFC will not controll fuel cut, you will need a fcd if you are going to raise boost. Downpipe and bigger exhaust is normaly all you need to reach fuelcut under boost, at least if we´re talking series 4.

S-AFC only controls injectors if you go above 8-9 psi you will hit fuel cut.... www.racingbeat.com for a FCD

opps repeating myself, sorry guys.. vosko, i think it might do mid 13's, i mean right now my car has 215hp stock, not 180hp as mazda claims, and car feels like mid to low 14's right now. I race my friends M3 and i am very clsoe to him, and he has chip, exhaust. why do you disagree?

saying you should run 13's and actually running 13's are two totally different things. it took me five or six trips at the drag strip to finally get the 13.90 run! it is not easy. good luck regardless. i just don't want you to expect to run a 13 first time racing! i wish it were that easy

your car is an 88TII right? if it is then the stock flywheel is 28lbs. yank that ****** out and put a 17lbs light steel one. the intake is super restrictive, even with a kone filter. do the tid mod too! that will help you get closer to mid 13's. our cars are heavy dude, close to 3000lbs with driver. and the low torque doesnt help any. you have no mods on the car now right. you'd prolly get a mid to high 14 sec. 1/4 right now.

a full exhaust like the one your buying, fcd, intake, ign. box, fuel pump along with your safc (properly tuned) will get you into the 13's prolly. a light flywheel and s/s clutch and good shifting will get you your mid 13's. i figure mine to be a mid 13's car but i never ran her. i gotta take a trip to the local 1/4 strip and find out what she can do! one of these days.
