FC supercharger WRITE-UP
introvert, thanks for all the info. so that whole part about the red and white and blue stuff is void for s4? the only thing that i could think it meant would be to plug the tube into the second noutlet on the elbow going from the s/c to the throttle body. if thats not it then what is it for? i know that one of them hooks to the BAC but what about that other one? this **** is driving me crazy. cant wait to get under that hood tomorrow and sort some stuff out.
No prob- sorry about forgetting to address that as well. The second outlet on the bottom of the elbow (the big shiny one that says "supercharged by nelson") is also for the s5 car. It should be smaller diameter and closer to the TB. You don't need it- you can either tap it and install a plug, or JB weld it (I did the latter).

o yea, and i e-mailed paradise wheels the other day, yet to recieve a reply. phillip garrott (has a write up on one of the links at the bottom of the page of the link posted above) told me he got his from a texas-based company called auto specialties. still looking into that. will try ebay tho.
I just ran the bourdon tube through the firewall with the driver side harness to the vac nipple on the back of the intake manifold on the passenger's side where my cruise control used to reside (never worked and too lazy to fix it, so I scrapped it). I also used the CC switch harness for illumination power as well, since it was conveniently located within inches of the a pillar

also, i can't remeber if you said this or not( been reading so many different things on this latel my mind is becoming applesauce) but you said that you arent running those boost lines to the actuators rite? and thats all good, it works fine? o, checked ebay and found NADA. and was your heat shield a rectangle with one corner cut and a halfof the side missing? with a hole in the top left like this:

That is correct- the hoses to the actuators was part of a kit for the s5 only. Your actuators are opened by exhaust backpressure, so they won't work unless you have the stock exhaust, or, as I do, an aftermarket with a provision for the air splitter pipe (Bonez DP). You can gleefully toss them.

DAY 3 (of work)
today was a pretty eventful day. i started the day by calling a company called Auto specialties (courtesy of phillip garrot) to find out the correct part number to the pulley i need (the 3.75" one) and subsequently ordered it. it cost $55 with $5 shipping. i then took a trip to autozone to purchse jb weld, red rtv, thermostat gasket and some misc stuff they had on sale.
once i got home the work began- 1)removed blower, bracket and smog air pump. 2) redid the e-shaft pulley. you guys were right, one hole is offset, and very clearly so when you look at it. i guess the wording of the manual threw me off, like they were telling me, "only 3 bolts will fit, but dont worry, its opur fault!" (there were several passages that were dificult to understand, maybe im just dyslexic. anyway, got that taken care of and threadlocked and torqued them bitches!
next step was the thermo housing. took a look at the spacer and marked where admendments should be made and slowly made them. testfitting every so often. once that was settled i re-rtv'ed and gasketed between the thermostat and spacer and between the spacer and trick pipe. then bolted that down. i now moved on to reinstalling the superchrger/bracket/air pump assembley. this was a pain....the spacer that was supposed to help me out fucked me over. the blower absolutely will not fit into place with that spacer. i then had to remove the spacer and re-rtv it AGAIN with only the trick pipe to check myself. sure enough, with out the spacer it fits rite in. isnt that a bitch....spend a half hour modding the spacer that wont allow the blower to sit in its space...
now comes another bitch....the blower sits perfectly fine but wont bolt in. examined it and somewhere down the line the threads on one of the holes got f***ed so now it needs to be tapped. however dont have a tap set, its sitting in my dad's garage.
knowing i wont be able to get this put on until i get the appropriate tap and tap wrench, i move in to other things. first my friend with the camera comes over and we take the highly anticipated pics only to find he forgot his cord!!!
he told me he'd upload them at his house and e-mail me. i have yet to recieve this e-mail and called him 20 minutes ago to find out that the *** is at the movies watching "fred claus" starring vince vaughn....*******. after some quick pics i decided to start setting up the oil cooler system. i mounted the small pump and hooked the hose to the filter but have not mounted the cooler yet. i was originally going to mount on the radiator but my asshead friend with the camera commented about mounting on top of the engine. i have a turbo II hood so this would be like the stock top mount intercooler. ideas about this are WELCOME! i then went ahead and jb welded the second hole on the blower-to-throttle body elbow per introvert's suggestion.
after that i went ahead and started tackling the radiator problem. instead of getting a custom pipe or tapping a bolt in (i'd really like to kepp the radiator cap) or getting an s5 radiator, i decided to cut the mount off of the stock thermostat housing and cut a section of the pipe out, splicing the stock housing in withe hoses and clamps on either side. with this in mine i broke out the sawzall with my fancy bi-metal blade and went to town, promptly grinding it smooth with a dremmel afterwords. then i called it a day.
PICS COMING ASAP

Hope that helps!
As for your pass side main harness, I ran mine under the secondary fuel rail to get it out of the way- yours looks like it might still be tight to the blower housing and get baked. Sorry I can't run out an take better pics- I am now in Hawaii and the vert is in FL. I will be here until the first week of Jan.
Looks like you are moving along nicely- keep up the good work!

My heat shield was a bit more triangular than that, with the hole more to the top right if oriented like yours is. Very similar otherwise. Nothing a pair of tin snips can't fix, though.

true, true. so do you have any idea what the thing in that scan is? i have the item on the right and am not sure what it is, dont have the other thing tho. but for your fuel setup you have fuel going: tank--->fuel rail/injectors--->stock fpr--->tubing--->rising rate fpr--->tank? i currently have the original paxton unit but dont wanna keep it. i might go with a begi like you have or a vortech super fmu that is fully adjustable (shown on phil garrotts site) not sure yet.. the vortech has to be run without the stock fpr as far as i know. how is your fuel running? is it rich/lean? do you know what pressure?
