Hp, quartermile, or slolam? I know that a n/a tranny can't handle more than 230hp. I think a 250 hp n/a is the most you can get, but that is so far from being street legal, or even driveable, you wouldn't want to mess with it. I am shooting for 230 at the flywheel on mine, then some n20 for the drags.

You might want to think about narrowing it down a bit...
PP motor produce big power, but are borderline street vehicles.&nbsp Then there's an NA 20B...

Race version 13B PP's have the ability to put down 300+ hp to the wheels.&nbsp We're talking over 10kRPM redlines in these things...
1/4-mile times?&nbsp With a stripped FC chassis, it makes for a 11-second car!

Right Ted, but a PP n/a is really not streetable. You ever head a PP race ready n/a with 250+ hp MazdaRx7Power? The exhaust rumbles the ground like a big block. It would be so unstreetable, you would never want to drive it!! I think a 230-250hp n/a would be about as driveable you could want, and still be quick. If you are looking for a daily driver with 300hp, I hate to say this, go TII. Now if you want a track car, go n/a.

Doesn't the 4-rotor in the 787B make around 750hp?

You mean the 26B. The 787B was the car that uses that engine. It is a race car, not streetable. I also dobut that a 4 rotor would fit in the engine bay. Also, I think it was more like 600hp, but I may be wrong. And one more problem, what would you use to control that engine? A Haltec would not work. The stock ECU would not work. That engine is a several hundred thousand dollar piece of metal. But it sure you be a cool thing to upgrade to!!

It's in that neighborhood, but it's turbocharged and not exactly a street engine.

R26B was a variable intake PP 4-rotor race engine.&nbsp It was NOT turbo'd, no matter what the stupid GT3 games says. Estimate on power was in excess of 600hp...

I wonder what Siguel Racing could do if the got their hands on of those! Probably around 1800hp with a huge turbo, and the shittiest gas mileage known to mankind!

You sure as hell ******* damn-*** could! (I like to swear)
Anything is possible... Cut a few frame parts here, add extend the front wheels 2" forward....
All it takes is money, bro!
I would personally mid-mount a turbo 4 rotor and connect it to a 6-speed transaxle.
I have some big plans...
And money is coming soo.

Word has it Marcos Acosta may be running on of the retired NHRA Pro-Stocks trucks soon with a 4-rotor in it.

Mazdaspeed's official figures for the R26B were 700hp @ 9000rpm and 450lb-ft @ 6500rpm.

Actually, I would go with a six rotor, mounted behind the driver.
Basically two 3 rotors put together.
