To von's post... 1 back.
MAF mod?? What's that?? Resetting the gear is the only one I know of.

Well, the fastest streetable N/A.... Really? Why?

Just go TII- by the time you have built your N/A up to a 200hp level, you could have easily paid for a TII and then some.

But if you don't want to, it's all a trade off of volume, comfort, mileage, and speed.
I'm getting almost as much power out of my street port as I can get- I have a little more manifold porting to do, and I have to properly tune my S-AFC. I suppose with a haltech I could optimize ignition, getting a few more HP there, but that's not in the budget.
Anyways, I may be around 200HP crank (who knows for sure) and my damn tank is running somwehere between 14 and 14.5. 1/4 mile.
It weighs 2750 lbs, without me in it and a bone dry gas tank!!

The only way I can get more speed now is to lose weight. But I am a winp, and I drive my car every day. I like A/C, and I like P/S, and I like my leather interior, and I like my stereo.

To me, gaining .3 sec in the 1/4 isn't worth removing P/S, A/C, and some interior.

Also, the more power you make with your exhaust, the L O U D E R it'll be!

I only saw it when they were tuning it. They had a part of the maf or whatever in some silk stocking for their filter. They tuned it somehow but I didnt ask how. I only saw it hanging in this silk stocking connected directly to the TB. It was weird I know.

what is max power u can get out of a NA 6 port motor and keepign the side housings just opening the ports as much as possible without hitting the aux ports and keeping the 6 port intact to keep that low end or is this no tpossible. the only thing i can think of is not being able to open up those ports enuf to where u can get som ehp but if u can how much hp will be gained? and without converting to carb what do u have to do?

Mr. John Wise - he managed to snap TWO rear axles on his NA drag racing that hard!&nbsp He swears he could've busted a 13.9xx if he kept trying...

Okay I have a PP port Na It is streeable once i get it fully tuned with dad on our dyno it is a little loud but i think we can fix that and still have HP most of the noise comes out of the webers i am running not out of the exaust i have an air box which cuts dwno the noise by almost 50%..My point it is a streetable motor it runs fine a little bobble but it only has 8 miles on it so give it time it will run like my stock motor and be fast as hell when i am done......and i am planning on running mid to low 12s

Ahhh yeah, I remember him, thats right, quite the N/A guru....

My goal is low 14's.

87 sunroofless shell stripped down a good amount, 90 streetported motor, and dyno tuning with S-AFC.
