I need to re-attach a wire!
Up against the firewall under the hood on the passenger side...you can see a VIN number...right below the VIN# there's a bolt/screw with a wire...where should the wire actual be attached too on the engine?

Hey dlbrown, what kind of problems did you experience without this ground connected? Im just curious because mine was disconnected too. I know that the purpose of it is to ground the engine and tranny but what happens if its not grounded? Any replies would be helpful.

none that I know!
I don't think it has anything to do with my converters dying, or my spark plugs dying......I just recently noticed it yesterday while trying to to take off my 02 sensor!

Koo. Well ive been having trouble with my turbo II about not wanting to go over 3800 at all. It just really bogs. So I figure it has something to do with my secondaries. But I saw this and thought, hmmm, ill plug this in and see what happens. Thanks though.
That wire is a GROUND wire there is no volage in the wire... the grounds are there to show how shitty the cars grounding system is they are everywhere. Dont take it off cause that is one of the main ones and the leading cause of the 3800rpm hesitation
as for your plugs and cats that is an air fuel problem or afm problem are your cats old cause you could have clogged cats or your o2 sensor could be off and it would jack up the readings is your car running rich maybe richlean screw near the boost sensor has been tampered
