exaust sys, before + after swap

Hey,
I desperately need an exaust for my car...the stock system is rotted, and seems to be leaking at every gasket. The cat is shot too, so i will need a full system.

The problem is...I'm planning to do a swap for a Turbo motor in about 6 months. (I currently have an S5 n/a).

Is there an exaust I can get now, that will work for both my N/A and the TII? I want a quiet system, like RB or Greddy, but I want to make sure that it will work well on both engines. I also do not want to buy one now, sell it when I do the swap, and then buy another exaust system.
Thanks

3 parts.

1) Cat back, can be used on your NA and turbo
2) Straight pipe, replaces cat, but you will not pass emissions
3) Pipe to connect your collector (header) to your straight pipe. Just go to an exhaust shop and tell them what you want, then they will make you a small pipe.

but when you do your swap, you will have to buy a dowpipe to connect your turbo to your straight pipe.

Thanks ponykiller, but
my question was directed more towards diameters of the pipes. Do I go 2.5" or 3"??? In the other exaust threads, people talk of these diameters in various places along the exaust system, but i dont know what it means and which diameter is better/worse for what I'm looking to do. (ie is a 3" too big for the n/a, is the 2.5" too small for the turbo)

if u are gettign the exhasut from Rb just tell them that u want a t2 exhsaut. that comes with 3" dp and mp and 2.5 catback... the NA one is 2.5 dp and mp, and 2" cat back.. that is the diff... i am not sure if the t2 mp and na mp are same dimensions other then diameter diffrence...
u might ahve to order a new dp which is not that expensive if u HAVE to get the exhaust now...u willl be loosign some low end with the 3" exhasut for now on teh NA motor...

if you are going turbo then get a big pipe, like 3 inches or more.
if you are staying N/A then anywhere from 2.5" to 2.0" will be fine.

just get the corksport cat back it's 3" from the cat to muffler and that will be good for n/a or turbo then just get your self a good quality 3" cat.

Nop, you won't loose low end with the 3" turbo back from RB. I have it on my NA rite now and it's awesome! Great power and good sound!
I am running the turbo back with the manifold and 2.5inch downpipe with WORKING 6-ports and VDI. I feel I have MORE low end!

This is FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE INFO.
