Exclamation engine in, wont hold idle

Ok.....yes I've tried to search. But I cannot get a solid description of how to get my idle up to 1500. The motor I have installed is from a junkyard, somehwere between 70-100k miles...it has been sitting, therefore I'm sure the seals are still trying to free up from being stuck and re-seat..it will not hold a idle...im barely holding gas at 1k but if i let off it will go to 500 and die. I've read about adjusting the screw on top of the throttle body..in the middle....that does nothing, just will bring idle down not up...the screw is all the way open...ive read to jumper a wire on ecu harness (2 prong) on left side obiously by firewall. NOTHING....(unless its the wrong wire)...i also read to play with the screw on top corner (right if on passenger side fender) and take the rubber stuff (jb weld?) off and play with it...

can somebody please..give me the correct way with pictures (if possible) with a detailed explanation of how to get my idle at liike 1000 to 1500RPM....ive read and it makes sense that during my "break in", letting everything re-seat...that it wont hold idle and 1k-1500 is a good idle until i build compression all that, etc. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!.......

also....MMO sat in there for 1 1/2 weeks...and i started it with atf and oil...so that has been done as far as re-gaining comp., etc.

ok..i found out about juming the connector the right way..its my the leading coil...2 connector one...i got that....now i turn the screw on the top of throttle body, in the middle..which way is up and which was is down? loosen is for higher correct? Also....my car will only start if you pull start it....after it warm it will fire if dies...but still is kind hard...if you let it cool down...it will just crank and barely try to catch...egi doesnt work either..will a fuel cut switch make this easier? b/c i crank and then flip the switch while cranking? link to witch wire to go into would awsome....i know its gonna be hard to start b/c of the low comp....any suggestions please.

Try looking for a vacuum leak. The more I think about it, the more I think there might be a vacuum leak.

i made sure middle intake gasket was still tight...i also found a vacc. line that we forgot to plug in on upp. manifold...it comes from the air pressur sensor...that made it run alot better...but still no idle and ***** to start. I wanna check for vacc. leaks but i cant start the ******...hehe..starter fluid all over will tell me if threres one real quick. I've unflooded it but that bastard wont start...maybe vacc. leak is causing that. I dont get it though...when its warm if it dies..it WILL start again w/out even doing unflooding...but is still diff., when cold..nothing...just it tries too...im thinking seals are seating better when warm...urgh...why cant everything just be perfect.

Gasket? What gasket? You need gaskets? Ahhh crap. Well looks like we should probably pull the engine again.

Its a vacuum leak. Think as you may that you got them all, you didn't. Believe me. I went through this **** over and over and was completely confident that I had them all. Turns out i had an injector seated properly and it was causing a leak. Prior to that though I had left a line off the TID, and left the AFM unplugged. And I could have sworn I put everything back. Just check and recheck.
