Engine troubles

this one kind of sounds like a 3800 hesitation problem. But all threw the power band sometimes i feel a jerk jerk, I have no clue what it could be. Then it wants to stall sometimes, just once so far. it feels like i left off the pedal really quikly and then brake.....jerk jerk, can be when downshifting, or up shifting....just like 1st gear 5000 rpm, to 2nd gear to just under 2500 and it will Jerk jerk, just for a second. Please shed some light

thanks, happy thanksgivin to all you canadians!

When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter?

My 7 started hesitating occasionally around the start of the month when I jumped on the gas. That crap ended with a new fuel filter.

Yeah, this isn't quite what you're describing, but each of our girls has her own idiosyncrasies.

probably TPS a bit out of adjustment (even if the light reveals otherwise, some cars may require fine adjustment) or one with a bad spot int he low range. Could also be old plugs.

Sorry for the delay, I just had a very similar problem and wanted to make sure that it fixed the problem before I started advising

I put in some Wynns spit fire injector cleaner and about halfway through a full tank the problem stopped and has not come back again.

dc350, have you tested the tps yet? whats the point of asking questions if you're not going to follow through on the responses...
