Angry car is slower than the other one?

i bought this car from friend and took the engine and put
it in my rx-7 and i think my car is slower then the other one and because he drove it and he said that it was not as fast and the only thing i did not use was the cpu and the clutch and now i put a 89-91 intake manifold and it is still not as fast, could it be the clutch beacuse it won't even burn rubber it 2nd and before it would and a lot and sometimes in 3rd on the other car and now it won't in 2nd or 3rd

It could be the clutch. does it feel like its slipping? You could possibly have other problems like lines, hoses and such not connected properly.

Recheck everything on the engine to make sure it is done correctly.

Why you did not compare the clutches while you had them out? Did the clutch look worn or anything? Did you adjust the clutch after installing before driving?

A good once over of the car might reveal some problems you missed earlier.

ahh so sounds like the car runs without problem, it is just not as fast as you remember the other car. If your clutch is grabbing at the place that is good for you then it is probably OK.

You can adjust the clutch pedal by lossening the 2 10mm bolts on the back of the pedal and turning the Rod going to the master cylinder. I can't remember which way to turn it to make it do what. It is hard to tell when upside down. Just adjust it one way and then drive it to see where is best. You don't want the clutch to grab at too low of a pedal postition and again not at too high of a postion either.

You'd probably get more responses if you used sentences, your messages are just about impossible to understand.

Check timing. Are your 6 ports opening up? VDI if you have one? Compression on Front and rear rotors? New plugs/wires. Are you getting spark on all plugs? Any vacuum leaks?
