You can get rid of it if you want, but its not a big deal, doesn't really attach to anything important.

haha XD

Been working on it since It was last suggested to me,
I gave it another try and this was the best I could do, I managed to get more dust off the pipes and wires but some of the dust (or dirt?) couldn't be removed with my armor all wipes and hard sponges from the paint grrr its so time consuming reaching into those corners not to mention painful with the worries of knocking something loose.

ignore the cement behind the car

don't worry about the rusted heat shield unless it starts rattling.

Do you own a garden hose? It might make things easier.

i found spraying the engine bay with degreaser letting it set 15 min, then using a hose to spray around and towels, worked well, take out the battery first!! though, then id let the car dry for a few hrs.

thought that you would want to keep the car running when you spray, no?

KEEP THE ENGINE RUNNING, go to your local car parts store get a can of engine degreaser, then go to your local carwash with high pressure spray, spray it on with the engine off then start your car let it run for a few minutes then sray it off. Then wash the entire car to get any overspray off. Wet it down with tire shine and bam looks new again. May need to repeat. be careful of the moving parts, bad things will happen if you get the sprayer intangled in them. Eric

DON'T hose it down with high pressure water, you'll get water where you don't want it.

I think I will just, get some degreaser get a small spray bottle and a water bottle spray and slowly and painfully wipe.

p.s. aren't you guys afraid of accidently getting water into your sparkplugs/wires/battery?
