you should try writing it out in normal "terms"...

.0018 ?? or .18

WTF is 18000 thousandths? that would be 18 inches. and no there is not a spacer that big.

if it's .18 then you forgot to put something in like your thrust plate maybe.

if it's .0018 then your right on spec. IIRCC

Figure out what the actual measurement is, then compare to this.

My bad for calling it float instead of end play, and my bad for writing it out wrong, no 18 thousandths would not be 18 inches retard it would be 0.018 and i have a k spacer turns out i crushed my roller bearing.

"20,000 thousandths" as you put it is 20 inches.

he isn't the retard that crushed a needle bearing...

Assemble the needle bearing, spacer, oil pump, etc..all that stuff in the front of the engine with the engine pointing up on the engine stand. Watch one of the pineapple videos.

actually 20 thousandths as i put it is 20 ONE thousandths of an inch. ill put it in fractions for you 20/1000 aka twenty thousands, and decimal 0.020 also aka twenty thousandths, and yeah i crushed the needle bearing, clearly im a retard

i've never heard of such bad math before.
if you have 1 thousandths it is 0.001. if you have 18,000 of them you have 18 inches. or;
0.001 x 18,000 = 18.000
18,000/1000 = 18.000

now do wanna try to argue decimal measurements with machinist anymore?

never try to assemble a rotary engine in any way other then with the E-shaft vertical.
use lots of assembly lube will stop this from moving on you.
when even you put something on, then take it off. double check everything under it.

ok yah the first one was a typo, i meant 18 thousandths not 18,000 thousandths(being a little retarded yes) so yes my gap is 20 thousandths i think i must be missing something in order to have a gap that large, because considering my spacer wasnt even sitting flush and it had the roller bearing crushed under it. shouldnt my gap be smaller considering the rollerbearing was kinda acting as a small spacer. im gonna tear it apart and account for all the pieces

the spacer is supposed to equal the thickness of 2 thrust bearings plus the thrust plate plus 0.0015-0.0028 for clearance to allow the bearings to roll freely. because these 3 parts aren't always exactly the same, the height of the spacer must change accordingly to maintain that exact clearance. more spacer = more clearance.

I have pictures somewhere of what happens when you don't leave enough or too much clearance. the bearings fuse to the trust plate, then when you push the clutch in the e-shaft moves forward, and the rotation of your engine becomes a process of grinding and filling your shaft bearings with metal.

rotors actually do not affect end play at all, the whole front thrust bearing pack sets end play and that is all that does. when the rotors in and assembled you can move the e-shaft forward and back until the shaft touches the center iron.

1 thousandth = .001"

therefore what you said is 20,000 thousandths which = 20.000"

or in other terms 20 inches of endlplay.

if the roller bearing got crushed it can easily become too loose once you roll it around and eat up the bearings. but i still suspect you missed something during assembly.

anyways here is a list in order of the parts you need to install to check endplay thrust first to last:

e-shaft thrust washer
collar spacer
rear needle roller
stat gear thrust washer
front needle roller
front counter balancer(make sure the balancer thrust washer is stuck to the balancer, this is probably your issue)
oil pump drive gear
CAS drive gear
front pulley
front pulley bolt torqued to spec
