Is this a joke? I hope so and you haven't really hooked a battery up to whatever AC voltage you have there. Looks like a Euro plug which is 220vac not 110 like in the states. Though your location say San Diego which makes me hopeful this is a picture you found in the ol' interwebs.

As misterstyx69 said, Stop and go buy a battery charger.

This isn't a joke, I just need to charge my battery to do some trouble shooting. I live in Europe now and im waiting for my battery charger to come in the mail. Thanks for the help, and if you have any ideas let me know.

Put the dead battery into a buddy's car and boost the car.
get the car started and use it for a day.Run around..do errands..go get a Freakin Croissant..lol..!
Now you got a fully charged battery.

*you may even be able to use the battery from the "donor" Car to Boost the car that now has the dead battery installed..therefore not needing another car to actually boost the car.
