Yes, Maziere (iirc)

Do you want to use one? Unless it's in a drag car that you can rebuild after the pump dies, no - their reliability in a rotary's harsh environment has not been proven.

Meziere makes them.

I have foudn it very reliable, and I love being able to circulate coolant after the car turns off.

no pics and no, it does not look the same. Current pump is going with the engine to another forum member when he gets the money ready, I want to get the race version for the 20B.

That was a joke. I actually got the nickname back in high school from my revenge match against the guy who broke my clavicle from my sternum the season prior.

I got even.

Keep in mind that coolant systems designed since the 1910s are made to circulate coolant after the car is turned off by simple heat circulation. An electric fan on a tempswitch will do the job just as well.

An Electrical Fan, with a Temp Switch will not provide Cooling, In terms of heat circulation. It will simply cool the Radiator the fan Is mounted on.

*EDIT* Unless you are talking about an Electric Water Pump.

Nope

As the engine coolant heatsoaks, the thermostat will open, allowing the coolant to flow through the radiator, as it would were the car running (simple convection). If you've got a well-placed temp switch (i.e. upper pax side of the rad, or the filler neck, or the upper rad hose), it will activate the fan, cooling the heatsoaked coolant that's now flowing. This will accelerate the convection, cooling the engine even more.

So you see? Electric water pumps are more about parasitic drag and getting that last 1/10th than post-shutdown cooling.
