Write up on how to.

Parts needed:
2 - 3in 45 degree BLACK pvc pipe elbows.
1 - 3in to 2in plastic reducer.
1 - pcv pipe glues
1 - a nipple barb.
1- drill
1 - thefflon tape
1 - couple to go from the top of tid to MAF.
1 - peaceof metal braket, i used the ones with many holes in it.

1. place the 3in - 2in reduc on one elbow.
2. connect the reducer to your turbo.
3. take the otehr elbow and drill a hole in if and tap your ipple barb into it, and use pcv pipe glue, or silcone cocking to seal thenipple in place soo noair gets out.
4. take some pcv pipe glue and rub in on the insde of the first elbow, then connect the 2nd elbow to the first and find the angle at which you have to turn it to go around the airpump if you have one.
5.connect the MAF to the tid and then hook up your vac lien to the nipple.

though that reducer is a good thing to keep and eye on, I had a rubber one and the heat from the turbo cause a hole to form under the hose clamp....caused my idle to be screwy just inspect it everytime you remove it..I'm still using the rubber because thats all they had at home depot...could we just go to a muffler shop and get them to bend a pipe for us...where can you get the silicon hose connectors?

I went and bought a reducer from the home depot, it looked just like that and on the lable it said it wasn't intended for high temperatures or something like that so I didn't use that. Im still trying to find somewhere to buy a silicone replacement though. someone suggested a parts store for big rigs or someplace similar.

the black stuff is NOT PVC, its ABS! DO NOT USE PVC! IT WILL MELT!
after using PVC and realizing how crappy it was, i went to an exhaust shop and got a 3" 45 degree mandrel bent exhaust peice. and i used silicon couplers. works perfectly, and looks a million times better.

exactly what I did, except I used 2.5'' piping to try and keep down the boost creep. I ended up getting the pipe for free, exhuast shops have stuff like that just laying around  I need to find silicon connectors...I'm still using the home depot rubber connectors

The black stuff you have is probably used for solar heating. Thats the stuff I use with my work. It holds up just about the same as the white stuff. It just holds heat alot better to keep the water temps high.
