ECU compatablility question
No, the vert uses a N338 not a N326 or N327.
If the first three digits match (N32) or (N33) you can use any other ECU that uses that same 3 first digits.
So a N332 or N333 or N338 could be used interchanged,
On a car using a N327, a N326 could be used, but not a N333.
The 3rd digit refers to the engine harness series used in the car.

Got me. I look in the FSM Control Unit page and don't see different values for a convertible vs a stock manual car, much less a different value for the pressure sensor output. But the convertible uses a turbo pressure sensor (Control Unit page makes no mention of that).
I'm probably wrong. Ain't no Mazda tech.
Then again, I'm using the online manuals that all seem to say 86-88 FSM. There's no strictly 88 FSM, and that could be MY problem. I'll never know since there's no strictly 88 FSM online.

Well, I see where I'm thinking wrong. The two different ECU may see the same signals but what the individual ECU does with that signal is another thing.
Jpg out of the free online parts fische attached of the right conv number.
By the way, what number is on YOUR ECU???? Getting rid of it? Wanna sell ...cheap?
