hey all i dynoed today. first time ever yay! but i got 112 hp and 188ftlb of torque. my car is an base automatic s4. and i was told i was running lean. and so says the results. are these readings normal? i have a bonez intake and highflow cat. thats it. schould i be making more or less power? and also how bad is it to be running lean and how can i fix it. will it get more power if i fix the air/fuel?

another big problem could be the automatic tranny..most stock automatic tranny = power loss

i'd guess the auto tranny is where the torque came from.....

you won't get 188ft lb out of an NA 2 rotor wihtout something really crazy going on...my guess is that was supposed to say 112hp and 108tq possibly. to peak 112 hp with 188lb ft that thing's only reving to like 3200 rpm unless the curves are all fubar'd. would a turbo put down 188lbs at the wheels at 3200? hmm...

btw my s5 put down 151rwhp and 127 lbft with intake and exhaust. i'd guess similar numbers possible for an S4 minus 10-20 rwhp or so for the lower rev and lack of vdi.

if you are running lean in an NA then you have fuel system problems to work out. at 8000 rpm my car was running 10:1 a/f.

yep 188ftlb

ya guys. way to go for my auto trany lol 188 ftlb no joke here unless they seriously messed up tomthing on there machenes. a friend of mine went yesterday 2 and he as a civic si he got 138 hp and like 100ftlb torque. his var is faster than mine so i didnt dispute it. do u think the 5 speed swap and a cat back would make some signifigant changes in my numbers. cuz im in the mist of both

Go to another dyno...that one has something wrong with it. Its virtually impossible to make that much torque in an N/A, specially with such low HP numbers to go with it.
