1986 NA Dyno Run - Graph included

Here is the result of my latest trip to the dyno on 8/5/2004. The car is an 1986 NA with an S5 street ported block. Mods include:

Cone intake
Port matched intake
Pineapple 6-port sleeves
Street ported S5 engine
Turbo II rotor housings
RB Header
Bonez High Flow Cat
RB Mufflers
Chipped 1986 ECU - moves fuel cut to 8000 RPM, modified timing
Apexi Super AFC
460 primary - 550 secondary injectors
S5 Turbo II fuel pump.

I'm still running the Air Pump and all emissions. The car is street legal and would pass most state sniffer tests.

Max HP = 174.2
Max Torque = 128.0

It's not bad for an NA. I was hoping to beat Icemarks numbers of 172.81 RWHP and 135.57 torque and still be street legal. The numbers are close but he's killing me in torque because he's running S4 rotors.

The car feels really good right now and will chirp my 17" rims easily in second.

Can this thread be moved into the "Time Slips and Dyno" section?

Thanks.

Any track times by chance? That's the only thing I have to compare to, since my only dyno run was with exhaust and cone filter with the aux ports completely stuck closed, and I've fixed/done a lot since then.

i think you would make more power and torque with stock 460's in the 2ndaries, the n/a doesnt need more fuel than the 460's till you get to the 215-220rwhp mark on a street port, and even then it only needs a bigger fuel pump, since you cant get much more than 220rwhp on an extremely large street port the 460's are great good numbers nonetheless, good job do you run the wozzoo.tripod.com site?? that was my bible when i got my first FC, i used it for everything

Agent D, I doubt he would get more power my switching to the 460's, as you can see he has a SAFC to be able to tune out some of the fuel that the injectors and pump are adding.

So you got a little more pwer with the richer AFR's? Or are the colors f-ed up on my screen. And how big was your street port and what kind of timing were you running?

What he said! Yes the car was tuned using a wide band. You can see the AFR's on the graph at the bottom.

The 550's and Turbo fuel pump were installed for a future project...

220 RWHP on a streetport? I say no way. Maybe on an extreme BP.
