Dyno RPM sensor help.

I have a friend who is willing to help me dyno my S4 FC, and he says that to get the correct TQ readings he needs to hook up a RPM sensor to the trailing coil I guess? But he is not sure, does any one ever had to deal with this before? I am unsure of the make of the dyno.

Dealt with it SEVERAL times. The RPM pickup needs to be on trailing, thats where the tach signal comes from. And if I recall, it needs to be the TOGGLE wire, not a plug wire.
