I would guess ( A guess) the big drop in torque in the blue run came from the hit of fuel. It looks like it killed the torque. Kinda cool....not sure if there is any corralation tough.

Anouther question...why were the AF so different on either run? Were you playing with the SAFC?

well before i went to the dyno i set the car to be rich so i wouldnt blow the motor... Most people just bolt **** and just go, and then wonder why there motors blows. I dont understand why more people on this forum dont actually go and dyno there cars. I dont see many people posting dynos so i am making an assumption, correct me if im wrong

Heh, I have a dyno of a stock motor, just to see what I accomplish with everything that I do...

As far as the bolt-ons go, my EMS will be the first REAL mod my car recieves which is pretty backwards as far as the norm goes...

nice numbers!!!! you should find why you boost is falling off....exhuast leak? just take it to the readline anyway and see how much the power drops...was this done after tunning or did you just get 2 runs and tunned your self in between?

P.S. Take it to the TRACK!!!

maybe it's just me, but I have seen a lot on here about how the stock fuel system can handle a good amount of power. Do those 950cc secondaries do anything good for this power? From what I have read in posts, the stock injectors even on a NA should be good to at least 200 hp before swapping to the 550s, but if that's the case, then wouldn't your 950s make it VERY rich above 3800.....I know the stand alone can adjust for that, but that's my ??....are they necessary and is there a benefit whti the power you are getting?

I've seen a varying amount of answers reffering to the max amount of power the stock fuel system can take. Obviously the fuel pump is the first weak point, but that is usually replaced with a walbro or something similar. Even with the walbro the 550 secondaries won't be able to keep up once you start going above 12-13 pounds. You can increase the duty cycle with a safc, but running over an 85 percent duty cycle is just asking for trouble. The benefit of having bigger injectors rather secondary or primary is the the ability to run more boost. It depends on your own personal goals whether upgrading to big secondaries is going to help you. Even if you go with a stand alone if you start making more power than the stock injectors can supply you'll need more fuel and thus bigger injectors.

FWIW I should be getting my car dyno'd this Saturday so I'll be sure and post the numbers. I'll try and set the MBC to 9-10 pounds just to see if we can tell a difference between a FMIC and the TMIC at low boost applications. I don't think there will be that much of a variation until the boost is cranked up to 11, 12 and higher amounts.

I would guess ( A guess) the big drop in torque in the blue run came from the hit of fuel. It looks like it killed the torque. Kinda cool....not sure if there is any corralation tough.
Correct. Check out the a/f numbers on the first run. He pegs the wideband under 10:1!!! Too much fuel drains power. When it was leaned out the giant dip when the secondaries came online was eliminated and made more power all around the board.

Nice work, friend. Boost drops off up there on the stock motor/stock turbo setups all the time. The problem is the stock turbo itself -- it's not large enough to move the mass of air the engine demands, unfortunately. It's great for a stock application but not for what we all do with it.

heh I never responded to this thread. I dyno'd 232 rwhp at 10-11 pounds. I want a frount mount

my a/f numbers were virtually 11.4 all the way to redline.

Correct me if I am wrong, but from your sig, you don't have a TID on your car, that also could be the reason for the pressure drop (other than the stock turbo).
