This build has left me speechless, from the first post on this thread i have been copying ideas down with a pencil and paper. Can you possibly hook me up with the FD alternator bracket specs?

Pacing around, looking at my frozen RX7 outside. Can't Wait for the start up vid!

what a wonderfull feeling, after 5 months of hard work and effort, to see the project reach its ending. final checks and then attempting to fire it up. to our relief the egine came back to life without any real troubles.
you can't even imagine how happy i was at that moment, thinking about the fact that i have built everything on this car with my own 2 hands.

Damn, that sound!
on idle just very civilized, when when revs climg, the intake comes to life and the exhaust just starts to roar the rotary sound.
let off the throttle and the HKS blow-oof reveils its presence
it has become a BEAST!

finished up the brakes today and slapped on the wheels to push it out into the sun.
final check on some things and then took it for a little spin out on the road very carefully.
its all a little new, cause its been a long time and it is just a totally different car right now...
on idle the engine runs real smooth, but when on throttle its a bit rough due to the rich mixture. some smoke from turbo and downpipe cause they are new but no weird noises or anything.
tomorrow ill take it for a little spin and adjust some A/F on stock boost so i can run it a little before i go to the tuner.

cant wait to see the results! and then i will enjoy every damn second i am in this car

movies will follow tomorrow, have to make a small compilation first.

To reiterate all the other comments, wow! Good work, very professional.
Can I ask what type of mechanic work you do? Any specific car make you work on?

nice work with the silicone hoses. You didnt weld it and it looks clean, not that welding is bad

well, for my job, the only thing associated with cars is the van i use to get to the clients im a mechanic for industrial machines and automisation
cars are just my passion
dont think i would like to make a living out of it, cause then the fun would be over very soon i guess...

well welding was something i thought about, but wanted to fit it with couplers first and then see what could be welded, but that would be just 1 or 2 so it wasnt really worth the hassle

Optima Red top battery mounted in the trunk where the spare used to sit.
Are you just relying on luck in case you have a blow out, or do you have some clever method worked out?

well, the jack doesnt fit under the car anyways, and the spare doesnt fit on the front due to the big brake kit.
so i have bought some of those spraycans with tyre repair ****...
has helped me out already when i had a big screw in my rear tyre
