i want to keep all emissions off, so the rats nest is gone.
wastegate will be ported, but will do that when i am ready to put the turbo on
can do only one thing at a time
Great project man. I like all of the detailed pics... and especially the Racing Beat REV-TII exhaust pics. It's a great exhaust system... trust me. That old turbo looks like some sort of ancient artifact. lol

the supra isn't mine, but of my best friend...
time for an update
replaced the rear oil pressure regulator with one of racing beat. then i shimmed the front regulator.
replaced the thermal by-pass pellet with a racing beat eliminator

put in the racing beat oil-baffle plate
started renewing the tape on the entire wiring loom, because i am not going to tuck away any wiring, it needs to be in shape when i am putting it all back together
test fitted my alternator relocation bracket, needs some adjustment for getting the pulleys aligned properly and also the mounting needs to be fixed. finishing it up this week, then i can measure what belts i need
then it was time for some work on the engine itself. sprayed it with a nice and fresh new colour.
and another one...
resulting in:

going back at it tomorrow

i started porting the wastegate, to prevent boost-creep.i dont like to start spitting out apex seals through the exhaust

short passage on the left is nearly finished, the one on the right still needs to be ported.

Wait, you live with your parents, but you also have a supra, and a lot of nice tools,/ huge garage space with a lift, and inspection pit in another area? Damn, I wish my parents had a garage with a lift in it... sick!
nice work, I'm doing the same exact thing right now:

the supra is not mine, but my friend's.
the garage is of his parents, i'm just really lucky that i may use this space!
oops, my bad. I would recomend a electronic boost controller if you dont have one already. I ported my s5 wastegate also, but not nearly as much as yours. It boosted .6 bar with to4 intake side and clipped exhaust fins. My engine is also street ported. the ebc m,ight help you keep good boost.
Mine uses a mbc , i boost .8bar, but after a while it slowley goes back down to .6 bar
