I wish I was driving!
All FC RX-7's came with both of those pieces, as separate pieces from the factory. If you don't have the piece with the rubber teeth, then they have been removed somewhere in the vehicles history. If yours are one piece, then its because yours are stuck together.
Motor mount part number: FB01-39-040A
Stopper Casing (the part with the rubber teeth) part number: 3975-39-045
In future, I recommend you at least have a clue as to what you're talking about when you go about hacking someone else.

well i guess im an idiot. i guess i just assumed that it was one piece because of mine separated in half. and not broken at the rubber teeth. i remember seeing a chunk of rubber like it was twisted off. witch dosnt even make since from what the design as you are saying the bottom aren't part of the mount. maybe i had an after market engine mount already. but i guess thats what i get for assuming something things.

The piece on the bottom of the picture is a metal cup that fits inside the larger one that's bonded to the mount. They do this so that should the rubber tear, the engine can't fall out of the car, as the two cups cannot slide past each other unless the engine is lifted first.

If you dumbasses ever bought new mounts, then the above eBay auction would not be of any surprise.
Like others (who know what they are talking about) have already mentioned, the engine mounts are two pieces.
There is a bottom metal cup and the top rubber part.
When you buy engine mounts from the Mazda dealer, you get the top rubber part with the two studs coming out of it.
I've bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff from that one seller, so it kinda pissed me off when ignorant FC owners start threads like this and offer assinine replies...

For future reference - I hope this clears things up. I have way too much time on my hands sometimes.

The only time I've seen the inner cup with the teeth is on 1st gen mounts. The original ones from my 87 TII didn't have that, and the replacement once from mazdatrix didn't have that either. Just the outter cup and the center rubber piece. Are N/As and TIIs different?
