Pre-mixing Supercharged RX7

So, I finally got the supercharged RX7 up and running, I just need to get a tune and it will be ready for some fun. The car was a NA S5 and I am running a haltech stand alone so I removed the stock OMP and I am going to pre-mix. I have read a lot of the pre-mixing threads and it seems that a lot of people go 1:1, but as I am spraying fuel onto the supercharger should I mix a little bit more oil in to help the supercharger?

Looks sweet. I run 100:1 with mine. You need to modify the throttle cable holder a bit so it is straight back from the throttle to prevent throttle haft wear. I went a different route with my CAI. http://media.putfile.com/blown-rx7-compilation

So there is no S5 OMP support from the Haltech? Or you just bailed out on it? Maybe put an s4 OMP & cover & hook it to the throttle linkage? I guess premix is the easiest for you at this point, but there are some options. Tell us what that is please!?!

Go premix with the camden! This helps to lubricate the blower and provides great lubrication for the engine at the same time. The teflon apex seals in the blower will last much much longer.

Ok... never mind... I'm not much with a putfile on my dial-up connection. Just another camden mediocre-charger. oh well. I'm hoping to see another whipple-charger like sonic-rat did. That one had some ***** on it!!! Camden's where limp on a good day.

Ah, hmmmmm, thanks for the compliment. Just another camden basher that doesn't know how much is involved in fabricating a different supercharger.

you can set up a s5 pump on some of the haltachs but is kind of a pia so i just ditched it

yes camden I got it for free so its what I used this car is just so I can learn how to hook up and tune a haltach

Any idle or running issues so far?? Transferral of heat from the charger to that throttle body may become an issue (it is for carbs anyway). I suggest using a 1/4 or 1/2" open phenolic (black plastic) spacer between the throttlebody and charger if hood clearance permits.

Well I only had it running for about 5 minutes, as there was a fuel leak and I did not want a fire. It idles like a champ and sounds good, as it also has a racing beat muffler on it. I'm going to go true duel soon, I'm waiting on new fuel rails to be made. I'm thinking of running a fuel cooler to help keep the TB cool. I am also thinking of running my methanol injection into the carb hat as well instead of just in the under side of the supercharger.

I did mine in the carb hat, it did work well but my issue with it was getting moisture in the filter which would not be an issue for you. It would be a great spot for your application.
