Drinking coolant

Well last night i was driving my rx and my add coolant light comes on but my temp guage was fine and my radatior cap wasent over heating. but no leakes out hoses or radatior. so my water jacket housing gasket must have popped yes? i have a sweet smell coming from exaust. so im wondering with a piston motor the glycol in antifreeze wipes out main bearings. what does it wipe out on rotary. what seals cause im quite shure i have to rebuild.

If you're getting coolant inside the combustion chamber your water seals are shot. You need to do a complete engine teardown to repair it properly. If this is the case don't leave the engine sit that way, all the internal parts can be destroyed by rust!

Heh Nice.

Not to switch topic, but probably had every kind of fluid down my throat. From power steering, gas, to coolant.. It always sprays just at the moment I'm cursing at the bolt I'm trying to get it off. And so far so good, I can't garuntee long effects though.

Good news is, I don't curse as much to my girl anymore

Sounds like a coolant o-ring is leaking. Mine ran like this for a few years, when I took her all apart, everything was very clean inside, no rust! But I also drove it quite often, that's the trick. DO NOT let it sit for too long without starting it until it gets fixed (too long like a year or something). The antifreeze in the motor won't cause any permanent damage to bearings/etc. If anything, like on my motor, it steamed cleaned the rotors and housings. (made cleanup a lot easier during the rebuild!)

before you go crazy pull out your plugs and crank it to see if coolant comes out by the spark plug holes. if yes then yeah you need a rebuild. and on another note LogicfoxX you should be more careful but lots of stuff can be assumed when you say that possibly every kind of fluid has gone down your throat!!!!
