Completely up to you. Jack and spare tire reomved would help you to run 0.02 faster, if it makes any difference to you.

I usually lower my rear tire pressures as runs progress in tuning for optimum traction and limited wheelhop.

Are you heavily modded? You might want to slip the clutch.

Like 91 fc said, it takes about 10 seconds to take out the spare tire and jack, so do it. Also take out your duffle bag from the passenger seat, and any other junk lying around.

godamn....lol

well i only got to run twice which sucked.

first run:

r/t-.767
60-2.659
330-7.7
1/8-11.779
mph-59.59
990-15.239
1/4-18.338
mph-75.44

second run...:

r/t-.639
60-2.717
330-7.815
1/8-11.845
mph-60.82
990-15.242
1/4-18.288
mph-76.8

my reaction times and launches were horrible. i was concentrating more on my rpms and what not than the tree. i slipped it at about 3000 both times. it seemed to kind of bog at first. the first one i beat an auto mx6 (18.345), and the second one i got killed by my friends blazer haha (16.783). oh well, it was still fun, and i bet i could have done a lot better if i could have gotten more runs, and my launches didnt suck. and i met a cool fellow fc owner there.

Damn, that means you got there WAY to late. If you get there right when they open on Fri. you can get about six runs in about an hour. I hate that track just for the fact that you have to drive though the water box, but its close to me so I go anyways.

Practice that launch and bring that 60 foot time down.

Dump the clutch at 5K, you'll get a much better times. If your tires start to spin, just let them eat, you'll run a better time than if you let off.

like stupify said, anything under 4k and yours gonna bog.

In all honesty the absolute fastest launch you could have is about a 6k-6.5k clutch slip. Put down just enough power so that the tires don't spin. Say your tires break loose at X, clutch the power so you are just a tiny bit less than X, and you will put down the perfect launch. This is very hard to do and is going to kick your clutch's ***, but its the fastest way. I always just droped the clutch around 5K, I ran a 9.8 in the eighth, wich is roughly a low 15 in the 1/4. I only have a cat replacement pipe, RB catback and K&N.
