does lean=smoke
OK just a very straight forward question if my car is running lean will it make it smoke. And also I have a huge vacume leak on my car somwere, does anyone have a good method for finding it. I know it is coming from somwere around the TB.
Well white smoke is somthing that I have got lots off, does anyone know if there is anything in the rats nest that will make it smoke if you remove it. I dought that there is but I could be wrong. And man with 0 emmissons legal stuff on the car, my car is killing mother nature execution style.

No this is very abundint white smoke once it is warmed up. When it is cold it smokes but not near as bad as when warmer up. I'm puzzled by this and I am hoping the engine isn't died or dying.
I had to add coolant for the first time in a long time the other day. Also the oil has a very sweet smell and has white foam around the filler neck and I think that is from the coolant to. And to make it worse I think it is leaking from the out side of the engine to because it will run off and burn on the exhaust manifold and smells once again very sweet. But why would it put out more smoke once if warms up, is it because it is expnading and pressureizing the radiator fluid???
Yup there is more pressure in the system when it's warmed up. That's why they say to NEVER OPEN THE RAD WHEN HOT!
Check for exterior leaks first, check EVERYWHERE fluid goes on the outside of the motor itself. If your getting white smoke coming out of the exhaust...
