Arrow Do i need to hookup the O2?

i dont care about cruising fuel economy on the car. i drive it to the track and home. And i really dont feel like having to wire in the O2 sensor and make the bung for it. it only take signal into account during closed loop, correct?

i can tune for such a condition under full throttle. but for ease doing things. I really dont see the point of putting the o2 back in.

You don't need the O2 sensor for the car to run. It is ignored except in open-loop mode (cruising), so it does nothing on the track.

No, you will run slightly richer during cruise only. The difference in average fuel economy is small.
