Disassembling 5th and 6th ports
Anyone have any ideas on how to disassemble the 5th and 6th ports? One of the arms is bent on mine and I'm going to need to change it out, but I wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up, so I subjugate myself to the mastery of the rx7 collective!

Except I autocross, not drag race, so I'd like to keep what lowend torque I can and keep the 5th and 6th ports functional. :-O
Reread the post, I'm not talking about the sleeves, I'm talking about the long arm that goes from the actuators to the sleeves. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but I'd hate to see what you had to do to screw up a sleeve.
One of the arms is bent in and won't reach the cross bar on the sleeve to turn it. I've got a spare intake with two good arms, but I don't want to screw anything else up by going aggro on it. I basically just want to know if there's some trick to removing it other than unscrewing the two screws and pulling it out the front, because mine is resistive to that approach.

Cool, that's what I wanted to be sure off. It had some resistance on it when I was pulling it out, so I wanted to make sure that was the right way before I He-man'd it out of there. It's probably due in part to the fact that it's bent :P

Not a problem. Apparently it's not a question that gets asked often because I couldn't turn up anything in a search. Which in my experience usually means I'm either making it too difficult or being stupid to try it in the first place.

Update: Looks like the fork end that goes over the bar on the ports is crimped on the arm. I managed to get it straightened enough, but it drags quite a bit compared to the other one. I've put some oil on it and am trying to work it free. I think I'm going to see if I can find a way to chuck it in a drill and work it loose. :P I can turn it with pliers, but not so well with just fingertips.
