Emissions removal solenoid connectors

I did a search and can't find the answer to this question

If you're removing the rats nest, you should be able to cut off the solenoid connectors to make it look cleaner, right?

True, I think I'll leave them on for now, and work on rewiring my spare harness with all new wires and connectors (if I can find the connectors!) and just leave those wires out all the way through, so I'll have a good emissions harness and a good emission-less harness.
