I have an S4 BAC on my S5 T2 UIM right now. the s4 uses a square fuel injector style connector (offset tab like on the 88 injectors and the water thermo sensor). I think the s5 uses a round style plug.

Yes, I used an S4 BAC on an S5 UIM when I had an S4 NA engine. The only other thing to consider is that the plug (harness side) will have to be shaved down a little in order to clear the secondary fuel rail on the S5 UIM. The S5 BAC has the plug facing down, while the S4 BAC has it pointed at an upward angle. I found that by taking the "lip" off of the plastic plug on the harness side, I could still plug the BAC in underneath the rail.

The nipple for the air intake is also oriented differently between the two units...not sure how that will affect the swap.

Do you mean an S4 NA BAC? S4 TIIs are S4...

If you do mean an NA BAC, then it wouldn't really work. You'd lose the air bypass screw & the inlet faces the wrong way.
