Question Difference between S4 Center console CD/No CD cover

Hey guys, I was looking at buying some trim pieces for my 87 Sport. After doing some digging and finding the proper part numbers, I've found two separate pieces that seem almost identical.
The first one being the panel without CD

And then the panel with CD

My car already has an aftermarket single din stereo with a storage compartment underneath, which one will I need?

I can see that, I just don't know which one I will need for my current stereo setup.

Just compare the (presumably broken one) to the two pictures. If you don’t have one at all I can measure my hole (no CD) and let you know.

87 sport would have had the no CD version.

Where in Michigan are you? If you're really worried about ordering the wrong one (BTW the non CD inserts can be removed with a couple screws, Bottom piece is same as top but w/ the screwed in inserts) I can come by and we can test fit your stereo to my surround.

Unfortunately, I'm currently over 300 miles away from the car at the moment, with it being a weekend project for when I go up to my cabin. Although, I seriously appreciate the offer. From what it sounds like I can go with the No-CD cover and be fine.

play it safe and get the one with the smaller opening. the two spacer pieces are detachable leaving you with more options.
