You need a blank panel to cover the space. The stock stereo is twice as big as your aftermarket CD player.

I got that gauge panel off someone on here. My stereo fits perfectly and it looks killer. Fits 3 52mm gauges.

I got a stereo install kit for my car, since the one in it was destroyed. It came with a filler piece for that space.

The only problem with the cup holder is that when a cup is in it, it sit a little too close to the cd deck. i can fit pop cans in there perfectly but some larger drinks hit the deck. I wanted to push the deck in so it was flush but all the wires wont let it push back any more.

Im going out ot my car to get some picture,

Your pic worked:

I also changed the lights in the Alpine to orange, so at night the lights are orange for the buttons, but the display is still white/blue (which actually matches the factory clock on the 87-92 FCs).

Not bad for a $90 ebay alpine deck and a $5 cup/coin holder

Just thought I'd mention something about the cupholder... If you have an S5 it won't work because the hole in the dash is too small.

Take the face plate apart and replace the bulbs with the proper color.

Alternatively, you could get a Gauge Panel cover off 1fast2 and fill In that void with Gauges, as I did.
