Custom boost guage holder....

I did not like the idea of installing brackets or a dual piller pod for my boost guage, because my interior minus the faded seats is perfect. You will see next week some other things I have made with this in mind .
I thought about putting it in the door vent, and even went as far as making a insert but I did not like it. So I ran it through the top window defroster vent. This week I made a mold and ended up with this.

Its not finished but I like it.

Looks like a parescope (sp?). I think it'd look better if you made one that molds to the contour of the whole section of the vent.

I've made my own out of fiberglass for the drivers side vent on the door. I took out all my vents/a/c controls/lines and am replacing them with solid pieces fiberglass that I molded. I'm putting my boost gauge into the drivers door, it fits perfectly into the vent. I'll try and get pics up if I can. It does look better, IMO ofcourse, then having that bulbous thing come out the top of you dash. You did do a sweet job though I'll have to admit.

Got one of those also. The glare make it difficult to see the gauges sometimes. Night time is no problem though.
