another vote for "shove like hell". This was about the only thing that went easily when I did a clutch job. Lucky me

Don't get me started on the pilot bearing though

ok i got it in now heres the problem installed new clutch, plugged everything in. started the car it ran for a second then died, smoke came ffrom exhaust and turbo area. tried to start it again all it does is turn over. sooo i replaced spark plugs (NGK R) and made sure they were in the correct pos. and the wires in the correct pos.(yes). tried to start the car, nothing just turns over but not smoking anymore... tried the EGI INJ trick and still doesnt start wtf. anyone?

could not replacing the pilot bearing have anything to do with it?

damn it someone, could any over the wires under the car be a problem? when i removed the orig. spark plugs they looked soaked in fuel. the car has been sitting there for 2 weeks you think it could be that flooded.

Check all your vacuum hoses. It sounds like a vacuum leak is stalling out the engine, and then it is flooding.

So what all did you remove to put the tranny in??? Just replacing the clutch shouldn't effect the running condition of the car.
