i was just removing my intake manifold today to clan the aux. ports and maybe port the actual manifold, but i noticed that when i tried to take off some of the lines, they just broke like if they were plastic, like they were so old they had been stiffened by time, is this possible, i mean they were rubber hoses, but they broke like little pieces of plastic, cheap plastic.

 

You'll get that. Usually from the neck of the line, where It meets the O ring. PM If you are Interested In these lines Brand New.

Yeah, things (plastics, rubber, etc) go funny after many years of being exposed to air/petroleum fumes... that happens...
