couple wiring questions

hey guys,
Ive got a couple questions.
first of all, i hooked up an autometer a/f guage and its doing all kinds of weird ****, it reads 1 bar red when it has power to it, but nothing, or at most , a flickering red bar when running.
I hooked it up to the cig lighter and grounded it at the big common ground screw that i have my radio and antenna relay grounded.
I hooked it straight into the oxygen sensor.
I tried hooking the power and ground straight into the battery and got the same results. it shows 1 bar with power, but if i turn the headlights/heater on it goes up a little. when i crank it it goes all across the board like it should, but does nothing but basically flickers 1 red bar.

Second of all, does anybody have a wiring diagram for a swoosh turbo timer, i got one brand new for free, but has no wiring instructions.

what is going on with my a/f guage, ASAP please, it needs to move tomorrow.
thanks,
mark

hey guys,
since everyone cared so much, i figured out, my oxygen sensor was bad. replaced it with a new one and bam-the lightshow works as planned. I do not intend to use the guage to tune it, because a buddy has a wideband, but it was free with my boost guage/pod.
