Coolant building to much pressure!!!

Well my car runs fine but when I start driving the car after a while the annoying buzzer comes on with the idiot light indicating I need to add more coolant. When I open my hood to check whats going on I see coolant spewing around the coolant cap. This has been happening for the past week. I keep adding more water and coolant just enough to fill, but seems like theres to much pressure? First off I am assuming I have the wrong radiator cap. Second there is damage the top where it holds the cap(picture to show what I mean)

Wrong cap?

You could have a bad O ring around the inside of the engine. Does the running engine blow bubbles in the coolant system when the rad cap is removed? It can still run fine with this problem, just not for long.

Well when I remove the cap the coolant spews out and then before I remove the cap after driving it bubbles around the cap if thats what you meant.

So if the car is cold and you take off the cap then start it, it blows the coolant out?

You probably have a seal problem in the compression/combustion zone of one of the rotor housings.
