compression test
i did a compressiong test like the fsm told me. i pulled both trailling plugs and put the tester in #1. i got 90 psi's with 3 good bounces. then i put it in the #2 with #1 plug still removed. the gauge did not even budge. the motor has 90k miles on it. am i doing something wrong. any help would be great
With no tester in the hole in #2, can you hear/feel and air pulses coming out? If not, sorry, rebuild time.

i can hear and feel air comming out but its not strong like the #1. Also tha car has been sitting since october 03. i bought it off a guy for real cheep and drove it home. it was like the little engine that could. is there any way something else could be wrong
it runs smooth. it has trouble idleing and it feels like it has a huge power loss. im changing the oil now it is thin with a good amount of gas in it. this car is absolutly perfect except for the poor performance and idle. please dont tell me i need an engine

when I bought the first jspec, it didnt have any comp on the second rotor.... the guy said that when he picked the engine he did a comp test and it had good comp... he said that the seals get stuck from sitting too long and that carbon holds the seals in.... I personally never seen a motor loose 100% comp from sitting for a while...he quickly gave me another motor so I didnt complain at all...
