Compression
Im looking at an 87 TII. The guy said it has a problem loosing coolant. And from what I hear thats bad. So on the advice of someone I asked him to get the compression tested. The results came back. It got 90psi on all stages. My question is, is that good or not. From what I could find, compression numbers were always like 9:5.1 or something like that. So im not sure what to make of the results. Heres a scanned copy of the test results he sent me.

Walk away from this car...
Worse case: blown coolant seal, which could require a rebuild to fix - it could require another housing - big BUCKS, unless you got $2,000+ to fix it right now?
Best case: coolant leak - even this is not that great, as it could imply the engine was overheated

BTW, 90psi is okay compression.
A "good" engine in my book should be easily over 100psi.
A "great" engine will do 110...120...maybe even more.
