Complete OMP Removal, Vacuum lines...
There has been a lot writen about OMP and running premix on this forum but I would like to know one thing.
When you remove the OMP and block it off, then you'll remove oil lines. What should you do with those vacuum lines which goes to the oil noozels?
1. Leave vacuum lines there?
2. Block vacuum lines off?
3. Or is there something else what I should do?
I would like to know what is the proper removal of whole OMP assembly. I've been runing premix for couple of moths now. I removed everything except those vacuum lines, I just left them there... I'm asking, because I've heard that if you do this your idle will change +/- 50 rpm. Why? And what's the proper removal of vac. lines?
FSM or Haynes don't say anything about vac. lines...

The vacuum lines that run to your oil injectors, run back to a 4 - 1 adapter. Just block off the one line at the source.
NEVER leave open vacuum lines!!
as above...
the vacum lines run into the oil injectors. so when you removed the injectors. you would have removed the vac lines right? there are 4 that go to a 4-1 spliter. then one big line into the back of the intake manifold. just cap it off at the manifold. and remove the lines and spliter.

Well I removed them and left the splitter there, because someone told me that if I block it of it will affect my idle... so that is not true, right? Actually where is that main line comming from?
Thanx guys
