cheaper solution to dual alt-pulley!!!

http://www.1300cc.com/howto/how2/belt.htm

I've just completed this and it work. It takes a little more work to get it on but its cheaper than get the dual pulley an having to buy a belt...plus u won't have to wait for it to get shipped to u!!!
I tested the **** out of it!!! Not even one itsy-bitsy-squeak!!!!

I had trouble locating a belt that would work...I went to hardware store and autoparts stores and ended up at NAPA... they had the closest to 3/8X22'' (3/8X22-1/8).
It worked for me so...here's the info for NAPA:

Item#: NBH257215
Price: $ 8.49
tax and shipping not included
Imperial Length: 22 1/8''
Top Width: 3/8''
Angle Degree: 36 Degree

If ya'll can find a place than has the exact size...1/8'' doesn't really matter that much--plus u can get it on slightly easier...then more power to ya!

electric fan. engine revs a little quicker and most of the load is removed from the water pump, meaning no belt slip.

kill two birds with one stone! plus it's nice to open the hood and see the engine, not the Big Black Fan Shroud of Doom.

just remove the fan
and ac belt (if equiped)
thin put the yoohoo belt on...you will have to pry it on with something like a screwdriver...as there is nothing to adjust the tension on this belt-so its a tight fit...you will have to fight it a little!
hope this is helpful!

Just curious...

Do you need a yoohoo belt if the only belt ON your car is the Water-pump/Alternator belt??
