Cheap 3inch cat?
Where can I get a cheap 3inch high flow cat? I don't see many 3inch cat's for our cars... Just wondering who makes them and for how cheap? Since I'm in Cali, I don't wanna take the risk of just running straight 3inch all the way...

well nobody makes a bolt in one...
I'm running a magnaflow (carsound) 3" universal cat with air hookup. custom welded flanges for my RB exhuast. the cat was under $100usd.
been in there for a year. and with no airpump or ACV.

Thx to scott im running the same set up, i got the cat for $75 and a local garage welded the flange on and even bolte dit in for me for $40. No if only i could get this pig to pass emissions. =D

Wow, thanks for the links and heads up. For all you running that Carsound 3inch cat, does it heat up much? I'm thinking even if it does get really hot, I can just punch it out...
