Question Sway bar question

I have a 91na coupe. I would like to upgrade the front sway bar. Will a Turbo 2 sway bar bolt in and how does it compare to most of the after-market bars? Thanks

The 91 coupe already uses the same swaybar as the 89-91 T2.

the S4 and S5 bars are not interchangeable, the mounts are entirly different.

The S4 bars are using the conventional end link (that can be replaced with adjustable ones or stiffer bushings), while the S5 bars use a plastic ball joint end link and are not upgradeable.

The 87-88 T2, 86-87 Sport, and 88 GTU bars would be an upgrade to any other S4 car.

But on the S5 cars.. all the coupes use the same bar wether they are turbo or not. Only the S5 'verts get a different bar in the S5 cars. On the 89-91 cars, there was no heavy duty suspension option like the 87-88 T2, 86-87 Sport, and 88 GTU all got.

So what upgraded sways are the best for the s5?

Racing beat, Suspension techniques, Mazdaspeed....

I'm thinking I should order a set while my motor is out to make changing them easy

Sway bars are really the last suspension upgrade you want to do.

Have you done the shocks and springs yet?? or gone to coil overs???

Sway bars should match mainly your spring rates, as well as other components of your suspension... Now, how to figure out what you need, I wouldn't know

you would speculate that if you ran a matched combo

Racing Beat springs and sway bars... Eibach and Eibach ect. I believe Scott's website has a great discussion on suspension parts (www.1300cc.com) Well worth the reading.
