You can buy an inexpensive puller at Pep Boys. Very easy to use. Remove the center pad of the wheel (the horn push) remove the large nut holding the wheel to the column, and just follow the dirctions with the puller. 5 minute job.

just rock the wheel back and forth side to side and pull... it will come off.

And don't forget to line up the steering wheel position sensor with the holes in the aftermarket steering wheel adapter when you out the new wheel on. If you don't, your power steering and turn signals may not work correctly, or even worse you might bust the sensor.

also if you don't get the puller I've heard of people bustin' their nose because they where pulling on it and it came off and poped em' so be carefull when you do it. I still need to get another wheel. Looking for an inexpensive infini wheel Sorry thought that was funny, hehe.

Leave the nut on a few threads when you start yanking on it. It will keep the wheel from smacking you in the face when it breaks free.

Also put a pillow between the wheel and your face.

When I removed my wheel I simply pulled back and forth repeatedly. It takes a fair amount of force. To prevent the wheel from damaging me, I bent my leg such that my knee was in front of the steering wheel, rather than my cushioned face.

yeah you dont need a puller, its fairly straight forward to pull it off, you may need a breaker bar for the large nut but i doubt it, but instead of a breaker bar you might want to concider using some liquid wrench if your having problems getting the nut off b/c you totally do not want to bend the steering shaft. man i didn't write this the best way i could so it sounds like a really gay **** story.

i witnessed my friend break his nose while trying to get his whell off, blood all over his brand new interior in his monte carlo...do yourself, your nose, and your car a favor and get a $5 steering wheel puller...its the best 5 bucks you'll ever spend

I think as long as you are AWARE that the wheel will come flying off of there... just be ready to fall backwards and don't pull with your arms, pull with your body, then rock it back and forth... done it at least 4 times already in both cars, never bashed myself in the face...
