hesitation w/ haltech

hey guys, i tried posting in the haltech forum, but its been a couple days now and no replies...

my car has a big hesitation... if i have the car totally warmed up and i rev it in neutral, it hesitates before the RPMs rise. i cannot figure out why. i removed my LIM/UIM last weekend to paint them and i reinstalled them, now this hesitation is here. if i rev it part throttle, its fine, but when i go half or full throttle revving, it feels like it runs on one rotor for a split second before it actually revs....

anyone ever had this kind of problem?

Hesitations right upon throttle application usually mean your throttle response setting is lean...

^Yep, time to adjust the throttle pumps, I'd say.

well, i was thinking it had something to do with the throttle, but i havent changed anything before...
and this has gotten progressively more noticable over the past week.

Could be too rich too. Most likely lean though.

Too rich would probably break up, not stumble...

i had an 87 t2 that did that but i didn't have a haltech. just stock ecu, but it was the fuel pump. doubt this helps, i'm just throwing it out as a suggestion.

Check all the stupid stuff first...make sure the plug wires are all on securely, check the fuel filter...make sure you have no vac leaks @ the UIM/LIM
