Car is running way to rich!

I have serched around and nothing really talked about what is going on with my car so please dont get all bent out of shape with me. Ok well my car runs wayyy to rich, if you are 3 cars back you will smell it and if your one car back it will burn your eyes. Right when i put my RB exhaust on it metal shavings were coming out so i figured the smell and eye burning thing was the metal shavings being burnt but 5 months later it is still just as bad. If anyone knows what is causeing this problem can you help me out? My car is lightly modified but i will list my mods below.

>HKS intake

>RB turbo back exhaust

>Walbro fuel pump

>RB FCD

I'd like to see some replies to this too, that don't mention getting an SAFC installed.

So it has an S-AFC too? It seems like that should have largely taken care of it if it is tuned correctly. Also, does it run rich all of the time? Just at low load, idle, or under boost? Did you notice this problem specifically when you installed the exhaust, or did it begin with another part install?

It runs rich during idle, im not sure if it runs rich any other time because i dont have a gauge and i cant smell it when im cruising. It has done it ever since i had the car. I dont know what a S-AFC is, im a newbie so i dont know all the abreviations. But my first exhaust had no cats also.

I have almost the same setup the reason why you are running so rich is the fuel pump.
walbro 255 makes the car to run a lot rich from the factory spec fuel pump .

I Have a walbro 255 in my car but i have a microtech lt8s and I'm able to control my fuel pressure.

well damnit. my next step is porting my wastegate ecu upgrade and 720cc secondary's. would that change anything? and if not am i gonna have to deal with it?

oh and my idle is all messed up it is idling at 1-1.5k and it jumps alot. It is that high because it is the only way my a/c will work.

The reason I asked about the SAFC (which is a fuel controller BTW) is that without any tuning the new fuel pump is going to make the stock system run rich. Before you do your other planned mods, especially the 720s, it would be rather advisable to get some sort of fuel computer, or the problem is only going to get worse.
