car hesitates in autox, searched

Ok I searched this and couldnt find someone with my exact issue so here it is.

Normal driving is fine...I punch it..it runs awesome no hesitation..turns etc.

Now when I went to the autox yesterday this is what would happen. After a long straight or whenever I punch the gas then let off and punch it again the car would bog, this would really happen mostly in turns. When the car starts bogging I would jiggle the gas alittle then the car would backfire and I was off like a rocket.

So what do you guys think???

It really seems like the car builds up gas after I let off on hard driving then if I try to punch it the car cant burn off the built up gas leading to sputtering and super awesome loud backfires, so I am going to pull the plugs and check their conditions, also for the hell of it buy new plug wires and a fuel filter and maybe if the plugs look real bad lean out the fuel a hair. Am I on the right track????

Also my exhaust mani developed a crack, I am fixing it this weekend, would that be a factor too?

Any help would be great.. Thanks guys.

i dont think its the sock.

you are on the right track. it sounds like you might even have a leaky injector?. or you could have fouled plugs and wires.

also check and make sure your coils packs are putting the correct voltage out.

it sound like the fuel has sloshed to the sides during heavy cornering and you are getting discontinuity in fuel flow. but when was the last time you changed the filter?
