The engine will not run because no air will be sucked through the AFM. You need to connect the turbo outlet and TB inlet pipes together. I made a connector pipe using PVC pipe and fittings so I can idle the engine while making TB adjustments. The engine will run fine like this and can be driven, but too much boost is a no-no. The ASV hose should be plugged if you go for a drive, as it'll open every time you turn the wheel causing a vac leak.

I just called a guy from autoteck motorsports and said my car will start and idle without an intercooler or piping. Now im confused. I just want to crank the engine before work.
SDrotory-FC Im getting the intercooler and the rest of the piping next week. Thats a long time lol.

Boosting Again
ok look. how will air get in to the motor without the intercooler?
yes you can make a pipe from the TB to the turbo so your motor will get air. but the intake air temp will rise alot. therefore you should boost without an intercooler. because more boost = more heat.
why are you trying to run it without and intercooler?
