SEs have less options, so that means less weight. That is probably a factor.

That's a pretty impressive time.

Ya thats a really impressive time to me. I got a damn low 16 with my TII All I have is an intake but stock I should see low 15s. When I get my tires I'll see if I can redeem myself but ****. I think I may have low compression or something, even though the engine was rebuilt not too long ago. Might be time for the ATF trick

I'd imagine that was pretty loud...I heard an FC with just a header, cat and pre-silencer, and it sounded mean as hell.

What kind of tires did he have?

Alot of quarter mile times are dependent on how well you do the first 1/8 mile...so if he can drive, then he can get those times.

...of course, those times are REALLY good.

no cat if running a pre-silencer unless it is a short header like a PS.

if you listened to Alf's bridgeport idling that is what a header/pre-silencer/straight pipe (no mufflers) will sound like at idle.

deaf at redline

I ran 15.8 in my 86 Base N/A ...

only mods listed below and P/S A/C removed..

That is very impressive time 14.9... Good reaction time I'm assuming with a GREAT launch.... was it a cold day?

he running good tires? sounds like he won't have too much low end, but high end he should be roaring if he managed to launch it high and keep it high then all good... Very impressive!

I was wondering the same thing. That's a little too quick for that kinda of car. Running an open header like that...man that's gotta be loud.
